Fear is one of the seven universal emotions experienced by everyone around the world. Fear arises with the threat of harm, either physical, emotional, or psychological, real or imagined. While traditionally considered a “negative” emotion, fear actually serves an important role in keeping us safe as it mobilizes us to cope with potential danger.
If you knew that awareness of emotions in this simple way, would you let them dominate your life. Or would you accept there feeling (pain) and allow yourself to feel them and move them up and down the scale as you learn to accept their presence and feeling.
Emotions do not go away they just change in frequency and impact. The more we fight against them the more intense the pain gets.
